My Story
I grew up in Southern New England in a large family. Lots of laughs, lots of love and adventure was part of me from birth.
​
I encountered Jesus just before I turned 18. Changed my studies from Environmental Science & Forestry to Bible College & Missions.
​
I interned in cold Anchorage, Alaska and started to serve as a missionary in the hot Tanzania, East Africa as a 22 year old young lady so wide eyed to whatever Africa had for me.
​
I worked mainly with at risk children, children's evangelism, church planting and my famous "Jill's unique community projects". Chickens, Eggs, and adventurous galore.
​
I met the love of my life, my tall glass of chocolate goodness, in Tanzania. We knew that marriage was super easy (insert blank stare emoji here) and cross cultural marriage was even easier, so we decided to jump on that easy train and what a journey it's been. (Gulp!!!)
​
With 5 children, 4 dogs and way too many chickens our family is completely crazy awesome! I love my life.
​
I am not the perfect Mom, Wife or Christian. I am a child of God on a mission and journey to share that Jesus loves us all and in Him is true freedom.
​
Follow me as I overcome food addiction and transition my family to a plant based lifestyle.
